SCOUT is CLIICXNET's rapid-deployment mobile ground station — an EV-mounted platform sharing 65–70% of its components with SCOPE's fixed installations, reaching full operational readiness in ~30 minutes with a 3-person crew. This page walks through how it deploys, connects, and bridges the last mile.
The EV platform arrives at the deployment site. No civil works, no site-preparation lead time — the vehicle itself carries all mission equipment, with no dependency on liquid-fuel logistics for relocation.
The deployable mast erects at the site, carrying the same multi-band software-defined antenna (SDA) described in SCOPE's own disclosure — not a separately designed mobile antenna.
The shared SDR/SDA radio core's Auto Tune and Auto Switch mechanism — SCOPE's own link engine, relied on directly here rather than re-implemented — acquires the primary satellite link with no manual configuration by the crew.

Two independent paths, serving different roles — not two options for the same job. The satellite link is long-haul, primary, established autonomously via SCOPE's Auto Tune/Auto Switch (see the live demonstration on ORBITSYNC). The optical-wireless (LiFi) link is a local, line-of-sight last-mile bridge to a nearby command post — explicitly not a substitute for the satellite link, since it's range-limited and needs clear line of sight.
